Minnesota Programming
Single parents attending Minneapolis College and Dunwoody College of Technology are eligible for the following RTB programming:
-
Cohort members meet one-on-one with RTB whole-family program coordinators to receive personalized guidance and support called “Mobility Mentoring.”
This program is required for all cohort members.
One-on-one Coaching
-
Designed for single-parent students and their children, our regular two-gen workshops support the whole family. While parents gain tools for financial stability, career growth, and time management, children participate in age-appropriate activities that foster connection, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Together, families spend quality time, build community, and take meaningful steps toward a future where both generations can thrive.
This program is required for all cohort members.

Our cohort program provides multi-year, holistic support to single-parent students pursuing college degrees. In partnership with community colleges, we offer a structured pathway that includes all of our typical family-focused programming, as well as additional financial support and resources.
This model is built for long-term impact, helping students stay on track academically while they navigate the demands of parenting and create stable, thriving futures for their families.
-
Applications open each summer; space is limited.
