Christianne Johnson

Christianne Johnson graduated Summa Cum Laude in 2022 with a BA in Urban Elementary Education at Metropolitan State University, St. Paul, MN. During her time at Metro State, she dedicated her studies to the effects poverty has on students' academic success. As a parent of 3 and a product of childhood poverty, Christianne is committed to helping low income, POC, and all other families that may struggle to achieve financial success due to societal disadvantages.

Although Christianne’s studies focus on youth academics, she is more passionate about the social and emotional wellbeing of the youth she serves. She knows that to help the student best, is to also help their families. She has dedicated her personal and professional life to helping the families she serves better understand educational services in place for themselves and their students, and foster an environment that repairs the relationship families have with the education system through advocacy and inclusion. Christianne hopes to continue serving families in her community as she pursues her Directors License in Community Education with a Master’s in Educational Leadership from Mankato State University. There she will be able to continue to serve the members of her community holistically.
