RTB Programming for Single-Parent Students at ARC
Are you a single parent pursuing a degree at American River College? If so, we invite you to participate in the following RTB programming!
-
We award up to $1,000 in relief to single-parent students facing urgent housing challenges, such as eviction, foreclosure, loss of utilities, and other housing emergencies. The goal of this fund is to help single parents bridge short-term gaps while they seek longer-term solutions.
-
Applications are typically open throughout the year until funds run out. Click to learn more and apply.
-
We award single-parent students with up to $1,000 in emergency funding to address one-time unexpected emergencies that could derail school enrollment and cause unexpected withdrawal.
-
We are currently accepting applications for emergency grants from cohort members, residents of The Huddle on 5th, and single-parent students enrolled at American River College. Applications are typically open throughout the year until funds run out. Click to learn more and apply.
-
Our Little Scholars Enrichment Fund supports the extra-curricular pursuits of children of single-parent students. Single-parent students enrolled at ARC can apply for up to $350 per child.
-
Applications are open year-round, while funds last. We are currently accepting applications. Click to apply.
-
Designed for single-parent students and their children, our regular two-gen workshops support the whole family. While parents gain tools for financial stability, career growth, and time management, children participate in age-appropriate activities that foster connection, confidence, and a sense of belonging. Together, families spend quality time, build community, and take meaningful steps toward a future where both generations can thrive.
