Introducing… The Huddle
In October, 2023, we broke ground on one of our most exciting endeavors to date—The Huddle on 5th. The Huddle is our new affordable housing program, which will accommodate single-parent students and their families while also providing them with wrap-around services to ensure that they thrive as both students and parents.
We look forward to bringing this programming to West Sacramento next year, when we welcome 18 families into The Huddle on 5th, which will be our first facility of this kind. But first, we need your help! Join us. Invest in True Champions today.

This March, RTB CEO Lori Barr visited the site of The Huddle on 5th to meet with community partners and observe progress on the project. As of March 6th, windows and doors were in, roof shingles were about to be laid, and the project is right on schedule!

This March, we were thrilled to announce another major milestone for The Huddle: last year, we submitted a community project funding request to Congresswoman Nanette Barragán of California’s 44th District, and this month, she has secured $800,000 in government funding to support our second The Huddle property in Los Angeles—which means we can begin making this project a reality in Southern California!
